'Spent $112.38 tonight for fish that wasn't done': Funny one-star reviews from Karen customers

It takes a certain kind of person to be a difficult customer at a restaurant; it takes another kind of person to go out of their way to write a completely off-base one-star review. These three reviews may all be referring to different kinds of restaurants: a taco place, a dog-friendly café, and a fancy restaurant. However, they also have a few characteristics in common: 1) they are poorly written, with grammatical errors all over the place; 2) it is clear from the get-go that the writers of these reviews were difficult personalities who probably play a large role in why they received poor service; 3) they were all penned by Karens and compiled from Reddit's r/F***YouKaren subreddit.

    The they call your name like your in a elementary school class.... How embarrassing.,.. when I asked the man to turn the volume down he said he did but did not. I asked for a manager to tel him about my experience. The manager said looks like there's nothing I can do to help you. I've never been treated . Someone with that mental capacity should not be allowed to run a business. I would like to be l contact with corporate. I will not be coming back and I suggest you do the same. SO

    Tigre Malabarista. 3 days ago Yeah... as someone who can have sensory overload... Karen should've walked out if she was annoyed by the music. And no one does guacamole with pineapple... maybe avacado diced with it, but not the whipped stuff.     tinyplumb OP 3 days ago As the (former) manager in question, it was more so that this woman had disdain for everything. The restaurant is pretty hip, loud, dark, and industrial on the inside, "gourmet" tacos and yes, some interesting sides. I do want it to be known that she picked the wildest side of Guac. We had traditional guac. Anyways, this place stays open till 4am, big post bar scene, that kinda stuff. All that to say, this lady did not fit the vibe and to continuously ask to change that v

    5 reviews 0 photos 2 hours ago Manager is and nasty its a dog friendley cafe. My 4 month old puppy and me got kicked out and ask to leave. With a tiny bit of puppy wee the manager grabbed my coffee said your not welcome took my coffe and said ill get you a paper cup. I told him hes only a puppy and my other dog had just died. Also my mum funeral was 5 days ago the way i got treated was bang out of order. Nasty horrile manager dont bring your dog here. Its dog friendley what a joke. He diddnt car

    I'd love to post what my boss wrote in response to this, but there's too much identifying information in it and the coward deleted her review 5 minutes after. Maybe because it had her actual name attached to it? Suffice to say she let her dog on the floor in the middle of a cafe like it's nothing. First time I've watched him go ballistic We all thought reddit would appreciate the chuckle!
